Happy New Year, guys! Tahun baru, azam baru!...This year I managed to squeeze in some of my time to conduct makeup classes. At the moment, I'd like to conduct personal makeup class, for any of you beginners out there who are totally clueless on how-to-wear-makeup.
Personal Makeup Class
1. Fee is RM 40.00/person
2. Purely practical, I'll teach you how to wear makeup on yourself using the products that you have
3. Venue: My Designated Place
4. Duration: 2-3 hours
5. Refreshments will be served
6. Please bring your makeup kit, whatever items you have, regardless of brands
7. No certificate, dear...you don't need certificate to authenticate that you can wear makeup....
Anyone out there who's interested, please e-mail me at eleena.lamat@gmail.com
I don't need a certain no. of people to conduct this class, it's that simple. If I'm free and you're free, let's do it!
In any event there is anyone out there who can organize a group of 10 people or more at any one Personal Makeup Class time, I'll be happy to bring all of you to a trip to M.A.C KLCC or Mid Valley and everyone is entitle to buy any M.A.C Makeup Products at any amount, at discounted price, using my M.A.C PRO card, signed by yours truly...but payable by you lah, of course...Sounds good?? E-mail me...

A peek into my working kits...
Heyya..heyya!! Ni namanya tengah boring...so I took shots of my hair and makeup kits as well as my name card and membership cards of MakeUpForever and M.A.C ...Yuppp, I'm a M.A.C PRO member y'know... The previous card was called M.A.C PPID card...The worldwide M.A.C PRO membership is relatively new and very few makeup artists in Malaysia own this membership..(as confirmed by the M.A.C Head Office officer in KL when I went there recently... I mean, that was what Bernie of M.A.C Head Office told me lahhh..) Bet you that the makeup artsist in the M.A.C stores here would probably didn't know the existance of this membership (if I'm not mistaken...)

Haliza's engagement
My favourite colour is actually blue, but I found out that people always compliment me that I look "sweet" in pink. Therefore pink has always been one of my favourite colour for my outfits. Anyway, this time I'm uploading pictures of the makeup which I did on on of my closest friend, Haliza. She has nice fair skin, with a few zits breakouts. She got engage on 3 December 2005 to her long-time boyfriend.. (no need to mention name lah here but I knew they were together for a very long time jugak lah...I'm happy they did take their relationship on to the next level...) Congratulations, Haliza...You looked so sweet in pink, I can swear you actually glowed that day!

Events/Dinner makeup by Eleena
Helloooo!! These pictures are an example of dinner/events makeup by me. This is Rina, she's dark but has an amazingly defined eyebrows..The whole concept of her looks , I would call it as the "golden-shimmer" look...Suits tanned-skinned people like her. I really love this entire look. I didn't trim her eyebrows as trimming the eyebrows is always optional. Normally I would ask for permission as respecting my clients' body parts has always beeen my priority...
I also have people asking me to put bridal photos here... I have a massive collection of them , but I'll upload the latest bridal makeup which I did yesterday in a short while...

Today's wedding
Another latest bridal makeup which I did today. This makeup is for her "bertandang" ceremony. She had engaged to another butik mak andam for her nikah and bersanding, but she chose me for her "bertandang" so that she could see the differences in her makeup. I must thank her for allowing me to upload her photos here, however she told me to remain her as "nameless" (kok bung enggak mau publisiti...I suppose...) She has a cute, chubby face, but her complexion is generally clear with a few breakouts due to yesterday's allergies to makeup...(hmmm...I wonder what does the mak andam used anyway..) I arrived early, at 9:00 a.m. sharp even though she told me to come at 9:30 a.m. as it has always been my habit to arrive early and do the makeup, veil (or hair) and everything as carefully as possible. There were several brides who wants their makeup done as quick as possible but I always advise them that they are paying dearly for makeup, 'why do you want your precious moments of "getting ready" end so fast?' I would always advise my clients that every customers deserves the best service out of the money which you have paid and nonetheless should feel that your money is worth spending on getting excellent makeup which will make you look your very best on your special day and having a genuinely friendly and hardworking makeup-artist to assist you in being "the absolute shining star of the day" . Anyway, kak XYZ (I named her so, lah) I hoped you love your makeup and I'm happy to be a part of your wedding yesterday. Cheers!

Check out my latest work..Doing makeup for Marsha's 2006 calendar!
This photo shoot took place in Singapore on Thursday, 17 November 2005. Marsha's manager, Shawn, sent an e-mail to me on Saturday, 12 November 2005. I wasn't at the office on Saturdays and Sundays so I was suppose to have read the e-mail on Monday. However, I was on medical leave on Monday and Tuesday so I only managed to read the e-mail on Wednesday. After several e-mail correspondences between Marsha's manager, I had to decide on the spot whether I wanna follow my instinct and travel to Singapore, alone literally!...Si pikir punye pikir, pegi aje lah...Thank God passport lama lagi nak kena renew, in 2008...so maybe rezeki sudah tertulis di Kota Singa so I took the last bus to Singapore on Wednesday night itself kat Pudu Raya. Bas bertolak kira-kira pukul 12:10 malam, sampai kat JB pukul 4:30 pagi, beb! (so you can actually imagine how fast the bus was going!!) I went through the immigration, and Hey, presto! I arrived in Singapore at around 5 a.m....It was pouring rain and I had nowhere else to go. I was at Woodlands, cold and feeling a wee bit sleepy, so I went through the pouring rain and crashed into a nearby mosque to get some rest. After all, the photo shoot was scheduled to start at 10:11 a.m. in teh morning. I though to myself, I could use the precious time by taking a nap, as I knew there was a long day ahead of me...Marsha's manager contacted me though, and he and his lovely wife picked me up at the mosque and brought me to their lovely apartment. I managed to get some rest and freshened up myself, had a marvellous breakfast and met the lovely, darling Marsha...all smiles even though she herself had just got off the plane from Malaysia. At 9:40 a.m we took off from the apartment and went to the studio...The photo shoot took place at a studio in Singapore (hell, I don't even know the name of the place in Singapore, can you believe it? )..Off I went to work my magic on Marsha...I even lost track on how many outfits which she wore that day..Maybe 7, or 8 or 9, I even lost count. Time flew off without realising that it was finally to take a break and had our lunch at a nearby mamak restaurant for nasi kandar meal (was it nasi kandar?..geezzz I can't even remember!... ) ...More work followed, ohh...it was such a coincidence that it was Marsha's sister's birthday! Shawn surprised her with a birthday cake and we all sang happy birthday and I had eaten one of the creamiest, tastiest, sinful chocolate cake, ever! (honest!!.. ) and the to cut the story short, it was a wrap at around 9:30 p.m. Phewwww....it was definitely a long and tiring day...but I'm sure it was even more tiring for Marsha..she literally had to jump like God-knows-how-many-times in one of the shoot...Everyone at the studio had fun...Even the photographer was one of the nicest, professional photographer I ever met. His name is Victor and I'm sure he did a great job!..I've viewed the calendar a few days ago...Our hard labor had finally paid off..I can't wait to scan them and post the pictures in this fotopages so that I can share with all of you...Stay tune for that!
