Model photoshoot. Day 2. Same location at my base in Desa Petaling, KL. Out of 6 models whom volunteered, only three showed up. Thanks to todays's models namely Vivian, Shazzy and Cass. These are regular people, but love to have their photos taken...Thank you soooo much for enduring the long hours of photoshoot with us crazy, creative makeup artists...It was tiring, but itw as soo.. much fun!  The concept was clean cut makeup, then changed to retro/funky/gothic look...There were so many amazing photos... (sbb tue lambat nak upload sebab nak pilih pun rambang mata...)..Vivian in particular, can carry my makeup, the gothic look so damn well..I'm so amazed with your natural talent...I will elaborate and upload Vivian's look in another separate entry for all of you to savour...

Model Photoshoot-Day 1. Concept-Bridal

I made out an announcement over at this free classified ad website..  (nak bgtau kat sini ke??..nanti ramai sgt pulak yg berminat, pengsan akak...)...and I've received at least 10 enquiries to be my models for a two-day photoshoot (21/1/06 and 22/1/06)...Today's photoshoot carries the concept BRIDAL...Only three models turned up sapa yang tak datang tue rugi sesangat tau...dapat makeup FREE tau... )...There is no exact rules on the "pemilihan model"..Normally I would state as follows:
1. "Must have lots of patience and time to endure long hours of photoshoot and makeup"
2. "Must not be fussy or choosy"-I am the boss, I decide how your makeup will look like
3. "Preferably no boyfriends, fiances or husbands to accompany you to the shoot"-beacuse of the long hours of waiting these people has to endure...
Other than that, I don't really care how the models look like too...pandai posing ke, tak pandai posing ke...(yg nie bisa diajar...)...the height, the weight, the race, your facial feature or condition ain't no matter too..dah makeup masing2 looks like a shining star tau.... Enjoy the pix!

If you are teenage brides, i.e. those of you who are between 18-21 years old and considered awfully young to get married, but what the heck, jodoh dah sampai kan...  so, today is a sample of makeup which probably suits you... I'm using Kryolan as the base, everything else mixed medium...(The makeup service charge is a steal at RM 250 without hairstyling and RM 300 with hairstyling...) Thanks to the model, Along...She's only 21...Who would have thought you could look awfully gorgeous, eh!!...

Harinie berlangsungnya Majlis Akad Nikah one of my best friend, Khairul Asmak Bt. Abdul Kadir @ Mat Isa..Dulu masa zaman sek. menengah dulu, kita selalu bersama-sama...Sampaikan amik gambo kelas pun dua-dua kepala teleng, org lain straight aje...ingat tak?..ingat tak??...We share so many memories together, growing up sbg kanak-kanak baligh yg periang...My creative friend, we shared this "creative" mind and habit...we drifted apart after Form 4, went to different schools and unis but we always stay in touch no matter what.We would exchange calls, letters, postcards, cards etc...Pure bliss...Friendship is an awarding experience as long as you treasure it... 
Moving on, arinie ko menikahi mamat sekolah MRSM ko yg aku tak pernah kenal...but I think and I'm sure he's the one for you..Dalam diam-diam ko menjalin cinta yaaa....hehehe...Ok,lah...nanti ko marah aku byk2 sbb mengusik ko
Pengalaman menjadi pengantin adalah milikmu, dan aku bertanggungjawab mencantkkan lagi dirimu yg sudah semulajadi cantik...tengok tue, jerawat berangan ko pun hilang tau secara semulajadi..wakakaka... Aku berhadapan dgn pengantin yg jarang benar bersolek (kutt??) dan cukup risau dengan penampilannya...Nasihatku yg jujur dan ikhlas, "Trust your makeup artist friend here lah, kawan..I know you too well that I can guess your taste!.." Takut bebenor...Tanya kaler apa pakai kat mata, kaler apa boh kat bibir, bulu mata palsu berat lah...ishh...ishhh..ishhh....Aku kata cantik mesti lah cantik jadinya...  Letih betul nak "convince" kan ko tau...Anyway, my beautiful bride...dari setengah angle gambo ko yg aku amik nie ko nampak macam Erra Fazira pakai tudung pun ada...hehehehe

I went to M.A.C key makeup preview for Spring/Summer 06 at Bistro de Paris on 13 January 2006. Met so many other makeup industry practioners like Kak Sai and Hathim Thai, Baby Elle, Chomel even one of my mentor Mr Alan Chooi...(I thought he's a die hard fan of Shu Uemura) and others...The MAC Makeup Artistry Director, the sexy and petite Bianca Alexander gave her talk on the key makeup trend and the direction for Spring/Summer 06...The food was great, but I didn't eat much as I wasn't feeling so hungry..It was great though, although I was a wee bit exhauseted that day...

Today I'm posting exclusive photos of my engagement which was held exactly one year ago...Yeah, I wore my specially designed outfit, but tailored by tailor Cina dekat my house aje..muakakaka...  Yup, you've gussed it, I did my own makeup that day...Don't I look different?...(I always look soo... much different anyway when I wear makeup... )

Makeup for Dark-skinned peeps...

Bless God for making women in all kind of sizes, shapes and colours... For those dark-skinned peeps out there...Some have come up to me and say "What colours should I choose? What colours should I wear?"...My word of advice is don't be afraid to experiment with colours...Well, sometimes the wrong colour can make you look like a clown, but with proper blending, it can turn out amazingly beautiful...
Have you ever thought dark purple would suit you? Anything is possible with the right combination of blending and technique...Here's a sample of makeup for dark-skinned women with strong, complimentary colours combo...lepas ni kak, boleh gie dangdut yek?..Ke, apa akak cakap kat kita aritue, Macam showgirl Las Vegas pun ada!!..hehehe...

Hiya all brides-to-be out there! Must be tough to handle your wedding arrangements, rite!...  Yeah..tough time I must say...Today, I'm uploading exclusive photos of how any of you Plain Jane out there could and should turn out to be like a Million Dollar Princess Bride on your wedding day...The model is one of my best friend, Nadhirah a.k.a Nad..(bless her for being my most patient model...)..To any of Nad's friends out there, fret not..she's not getting married soon...Not in a the next few months or years, maybe..but if there is anyone out there who is Nad's jodoh la kan..God knows...Anyway, see for yourself how I turned her, a plain, and ordinary girl into the Ultimate Shining Star of the Day!..and I'm telling you, this is how YOU should look like too on your wedding day.. Not looking like as if you've had gunk on your face, God NOOOO....In case you notice, you don't really need to trim your eyebrows if you don't want to...Let makeup do the trick!!
