 Hello, again...I think this entry is the final saga of the many series of "Model photoshoot - Ellyana Yumi Sakano"...  Tak pasal-pasal glamer ko Mimi...  ....In the future entries I will lay down some tips for aspiring models out there... Gawdd, I have to chop down my words in this entry as I'm heading for home in a short while...Sweettt!!!  What I can say for this entry is that there was no changes made to the makeup..Only Mimi's hair got the final "torture" from me..hehehe... I gotta thank Mimi for enduring the long hours of the shoot, and hope to work with you and on you again in the future... Gotta go now, fellas...  Cheers!

...Now I, myself got a wee bit confused fom the many entries which I've posted testerday and today...  Silly me...huhuhu.. ..Again, this entry is another saga of Mimi's pix... These photos are mostly her poses...maybe these poses could give some ideas to all the aspiring models out there...It's normal that initially models (especially the new ones) become a bit camera-shy in front of the camera..  ..Bak kata kitorang orang belakang tabir...mula-mula malu-malu lepas tu semua jenis pose keluar, sampai dah tak payah guide lagi dah... Paling best bila orang belakang tabir dok buat lawak, posing macam tak ingat...  ...Tapi apakan daya orang belakang tabir biasanya comot-comot belaka... huhuhu....

 ...I called this look the absolute "mysterious" look ...The best thing about being Asian is that commonly our hair is black and black to me is an absolute "mysterious" colour...  The combination of colours can add "life" to the face..As far as coloured portrait shots are concerned, colours are like a metaphor...Colours can be as vivid as they represent and they can be as dark, bold mysterious or gloomy, as whatever one might want them be deciphered as...  Hmmm...what else can I say..  ...I totally adore this look, it really defined what I felt at that time (did it??... )...Anyway, do notice that Yumi wasn't wearing the shiny silver accessories anymore...

     Woweee!!....I belum pun write down anything on this entry and I've received several comments from this entry.... Sweeeeetttt.....  Thank you so much for visiting my photo blog and to those whom always visit my photo blog regularly for updates, I really do apologize for updating this blog a wee bit late and backdated... (sigh..) For this entry, the makeup for Yumi (Mimi) is the same as the previous entry, but with a change to her hairstyling...Actually the main focus of this entry is actually the accessories which she wore as in the next entry she wore different accesories.....

This is also another series of photos of Yumi... (I called her "Mimi" instead coz I got a bit confused with either "Yuni" or "Yumi" initially... )..Mind you Yumi is not 100% a professional model, in fact she is still studying at Taylor's College (wherever that is... )...Yupp, she's only an average Jane just like the rest of us...Same dress, same hair and same fiery red lipstick except that I changed the "look" of her eyes to look slightly glamourous...

Hellooooo!!!...It's been a while since I updated my photo blog...I was away oevrseas and doing all sort of stuff that I don't really have the time to update this photo blog, until a good friend of mine, Haliza, reminded me that she was really looking forward to check out my latest news... ...Thanks, Haliza dearie for the reminder....This entry is basically a continuation from the previous "Model Photoshoot - Ellyana Yumi Sakano Part # 1" posted earlier... I really love doing makeup on models.... Unlike bridal makeup, with models it's more relaxed (I'm more relaxed, that is...the model has to bear with me...hehehe) and like Yumi commented earlier, I could be dancing around like bonkers while having a laugh and at the same time doing the makeup... Hmmm...Today I was approached vis SMS by a fella named Faisal M Zabidy (I hope I got your name right..), the administrator of www.syokkahwin.com...To my surprise, my name is included in the listing directory (why, thank you, dear...You're such a pro-active fella too!!... ) A few exchaged SMSs later revealed that he's a big fan of my work too!!  ..well, I know I have many loyal female worshippers of my photo blog out there, what I don't know is that do I have male fans too??..Errr...I guess now I know lahh, eh???...Anyway, I truly admire his pro active action and all the best to your wedding portal..I'm glad to be on board and guys, what are you waiting for, go check it out!!...

Model photoshoot-Ellyana Yumi Sakano Part#1

Models come in all sizes and shapes. How very interesting really. I've never met today's model for this photo shoot before. We communicated through emails and even though she has sent to me several photos of herself, those pix didn't really matter to me as to me the actual model always look somewhat different (without the makeup, or maybe she has put on weight, or lose some...) from the pix. When we met, initially I thought Ellyana a.k.a Yumi was very much "ordinary".As in just like the rest of us, who blends easily with the crowd... I love her name too, she spoke perfect English with me all the way, honestly I thought Yumi is a caucasian. Not really, but she is a mix of Japanese-Indonesian-Singaporean (hmm..I can't remember that much...) After "studying" her facial feature, I decided to put on these looks for her, and she looked absolutely amazing!!..For those of you out there who always follow my entries religiously, I'm telling you, the red lipstick look is still "da ultimate bomb" tau!!...hehehe Don't be afraid to wear red lipstick!!...Actually I love all colours available, not just "nude-nude" or "natural-natural" colours aje... Enjoy the entry. More pix later and in the coming entries.

Today's entry is a photoshoot at Karangkraf studio in Shah Alam, for one of its magazine called "Dara.com". The magazine is targetted at trendy muslim girls aged 18-25. I'm somewhat familiar with the magazine concept since I was a subscriber of the magazine for about a year, but since my subscription has expired in July last year and my status has changed, I stopped buying Dara.com for a while... Lagipun masa subscription tu expired takde pun notis atau form untuk renewal, so liat laaa nak renew...huhuhu ....Anyway, subcribe dulu pun coz nak simpan resit nak tolak from income tax...hehehe... (I'm a good Malaysian citizen...marilah bertanggungjawab menyumbang ke arah pembangunan negara..ewwahhhh....!! )...Anyway, the photoshoot is for column "teknik ikatan tudung", I think...There were four styles of ikatan tudung, thanks to the much talented writer cum tudung stylist for that magazine Darina...For "tudung"-clad girls out there who are brave enough to try out the styles, my word of advice is have ready with you lots of pins and needles ready... ...The photoshoot, if I'm not mistaken is for Dara.com publication in June and August, so go check it out at your local newsy agent, yahhh....

...This entry is for Majlis Bertandang my sister kat Temerloh on Saturday, 11 March 2006...The colour theme is green...Army called it "Hijau Norjuma"...(Are you sure about this, Amri?...tsk..tsk..tsk.. )....We arrived at Temerloh the day before and spent the night at Hotel Seri Malaysia, Temerloh...Kind of eerie a bit at night as we are the only ones (My sister, Amri & I) in the our (hotel) block staying at that hotel...Thank God, nothing bad happened to us..(fuhh...legaaa.... )...Anyway, I decided to make her look slightly different this time...kind of like, play around with colours a bit...green is not actually a "safe" colour to wear for brides, but with my magic here and there, hey presto!...Green ain't that bad on my sister's eyes (or anyone eyes for that matter actually...)...Let's not elaborate much further and enjoy the pix in this entry...Congratulations to Dr. Kathrina Lamat & Army Amri !!
