 These are some snapshots taken during a fashion photoshoot for the special bumper edition of one of Karangkraf magazine Seri Dewi & Keluarga August 2006 edition...  ...The photoshoot was taken at Abang Man Kajang's shop. There were two models that day. The model that I worked with was fondly known as Bibi...  ....(I can't remember the other model's name though...  ) The bubbly Abang Kimie Kajang was also working with me for this shoot...The room where we did the makeup was hot, but nonetheless we definitely had fun...  Listening to Abang Kimie's mumbling and grumbling was music to my ears...

The 1st of July this year was my 25th birthday...(yeah, I know...pretty much old already.... )...What I did on my birthday??...Working....  ...Huhuhu...It was a lovely Saturday morning and I was doing makeup for the wedding reception of the lovely couple Maihafizah and Kamal Fariz at Hotel UiTM, Shah Alam....Here are some great snapshots taken by the bubbly photographer, cikgu Syed Nasir while I was working...Later in the afternoon, I did had a small celebration with my loved one at Chilli's...I just love Chilli's Ceaser Salad...I'd reckon it's the best ceaser salad I ever had!!... yumm..yummmm...

....It was a fine Saturday morning...24 June 2006 marked the engagement ceremony of the sweet Azilah Zainal and her fiance (yikes...I suck at remembering a guy's name... ...) I've never met Azilah before and we only corresponded through e-mails. The engagement ceremony took place at Azilah's house at Keramat Permai, KL. The journey throughout was smooth, the directions which she gave was crystal clear that I did not have much of a problem to reach her house...  ...After all, I was driving that day...  ...I parked my car near her house and I was amazed that there was an "andaman" house very, very near to Azilah's house. I asked Azilah why did she not take up the "andaman" service instead and so she told me her reasons...  (some things are not meant for sharing...but it was my priviledge to know... )...The theme for her engagement is the ever-popular sea blue, which matched the "hantaran", the beddings as well as the wall of the room...Talk about colour coordinating!...(Ok, so the wall and the beddings were a pure coincidence... )...As I didn't have nothing much to do afterwards, I stayed for a while and captured some of the wonderful moments in Azilah's life...Azilah, I promised you that I will burn a CD copy of all your pictures (I'm not exactly in the pink of health at the moment, but rest assured that it will arrive in your mailbox. Will advise you via sms, ok dear...) and what I'm sharing with the rest of the world here are some of the photos of the beautiful you during your engagement on 24 June 2006..(and always beautiful... )

Majlis Pertunangan Nurul Huda & Yazid- Bdr Baru Sg Buloh

....Today is the engagement of my university mate, Nurul Huda and Yazid...The engagement ceremoy took place at Nurul's house in Bandar Baru Sg Buloh. I was from Subang, where I did bridal hairstyling for Syazrin's reception, and earlier in the morning I was in Seremban for Rossuraya's akad nikah....Phewwww.... ....In short, I had to travelled quite a distance from Sremban tu Subang and then to Sg. Buloh...Something which I don't fancy doing, but it was also equally hard to let Nurul down as she was counting on me to be part of her engagement ceremony. I told Nurul that there would be no exact promises, but thankfully traffic was rather smooth throughout my journey, so Nurul definitely got lucky ...By the time I reached to Nurul's house, I had enough time (in fact, I got more time afterwards since Yazid's family came later in the evening, at close to 4:00 p.m even though the ceremony was supposed to begin at around 2:00 p.m.) to get Nurul ready for what she described in her CD copy of her engagement pix as "The Merry Event on the 3rd. June 2006)...Nurul wore a new gold lace kebaya teamed with cream "tudung bawal" and gold "selendang"...Nurul has this really cute dimples on her cheeks which to my envy, accentuate her million-dollar smile.... ..Congratulations to Nurul and Yazid!!

Ok..Due to an overwhelming demand, starting from this entry onwards, I'm back with more photos of my bridal clients  ...For this entry, I'm featuring the engagement ceremony of Wan Nur Saaraa and her fiance, Mohd. Zulhisham...As always, the male counterpart is of non-importance to my portfolio, hehehe so these are some of the best snapshops during Saaraa's engagement, which took place during this date at her home in Bandar Baru Bangi. I've known Saaraa since we shared the same primary school together, back in 1988 to 1993...My rememberance of Saaraa as far as memory served me well was that she was the absolute genius at my primary school... , having won the overall 1st. place prize for 5 years...Well, Zulhisham if you don't know this, you're about to marry one hell of a smart-a$$ woman....  ....The colour theme was gold/champagne and I gotta say here that I really love the hand-made mini pelamin with chasing lights as the centre piece of your engagement ceremony!! As always, Saaraa was also another one of the usual case of "I'm not used to wearing too much makeup"...Well, dear, don't worry so much about it Saaraa, with proper application of makeup, you can look gorgeously stunning and natural-looking on your engagement day... Best of luck to Saaraa and Zulhisham... .

...This photoshoot was taken at night...Miss I.W. Foo was kind enough to "spare" her straight hair for me to "play around" until it became like this... ..The makeup was dark, to make her eyes bigger, but the quality of this makeup wasn't that great as I was getting a wee bit tired (it's already late at night when we shot this)...both I.W. Foo and I were getting sleepy...Our eyes could hardly open...
