 ...Blue is my absolute favourite colour... (sigh)...I always thought blue has always been associated with the feeling of cool and calm...The wedding reception of two absolute cool couple, Ikhwan & Aida took place at Subang Jaya on 20 May 2006...<--My writings stopped here the last time. Can you believe it that I actually fall asleep while typing this??..  Tsk..Tskk...Tskkk... 
Anyhow, this reception was at Ikhwan's side a.k.a bertandang ceremony. It was held at night... Hmmm..jarang-jarang majlis kenduri sebelah lelaki diadakan pada sebelah malam. Kenduri yang sangat meriah meski pun diadakan pada sebelah malam...Seingatku, pengiring membawa bunga manggar dan lilin dalam gelas, dibawa semasa berarak dari rumah jiran Ikhwan, yang mana pada sebelah petangnya cukup sporting menyediakan makan petang...Ada break lah pulak in between makeup masa tue...  ..Sweettt.... Paluan kompang turut memeriahkan suasana pada malam tersebut...Aida berdarah campuran, kalau tak salah ibunya berketurunan Tiong Hua dan memiliki kecantikan semulajadi terutama lesung pipit kat pipi tu yang membuatkan Aida kelihatan bertambah ayu dan comel aje bila dipandang. Majlis kenduri kahwin sebelah Aida telah berlangsung di rumahnya di Johor Bahru, lebih kurang seminggu atau 2 minggu sebelum majlis resepsi sebelah Ikhwan. Yang pasti kedua-duanya bekerja di KLCC, hmmm..namun tak pasti pula bagaimana kah cerita cinta mereka..hehehe... Walau apa pun, selamat pengantin baru buat Ikhwan & Aida semoga ikatan perkahwinan kekal selama-lamanya...amiinn.

...Hellooooo!!!...I'm back again and this time with a new entry of a wedding reception which was held at Kuala Klawang, Negeri Sembilan on the 4th of June 2006...The wedding reception of Juliana (fondly known as Jue) and her soulmate, Adil...I remembered Jue had a tough time whilst preparing for her wedding. I guess it was really a "test of patience" from the Almighty God for Jue & Adil...and I do admire her patience for it...From her awful experience at a bridal boutique (which should remain nameless) to the sudden flat tyre when she came to see me...(she came to see me at the wee hours of night...I thought she wouldn't make it at first!  )...Adil was really patient too, accompanying Jue quietly and patiently waiting for Jue... ...I guess they were really meant for each other...Anyway, the colour theme for Jue & Adil's reception was purple (I really adore this purple...)...The food during the reception was "lauk kampung" which definitely filled my hungry stomach...After doing makeup for Suraya & Jue, my stomach was growling for food (hehehe)...Jue certainly looked absolutely amazing on her wedding day...Makeup and styling of her natural hair (no extension was put on her hair...)...Congratulations to Jue & Adil!! May you live happily ever after...

I'm hooked with real-life work and all the terrible mess in life!... Anyhow, I just want to share the photos published in Majalah Seri Dewi & Keluarga published by Karangkraf for August 2006 issue. Special thanks to Maslina of Karangkraf and abang Man Kajang for the location of the shoot...
Most of these outfits were made by Man Kajang. They are with me and available for rental inclusive of the complete adoring accessories at a very reasonable price. If you're familiar with Man Kajang's collection outfits, let me tell everyone out there that he's truly a designer of class and knows well about the fabric, the flair and most importantly, the cut and fitting of his creations are always perfect and feels "just right" on the body...

Hellooo!! This entry's date commemorates the date of Utusan Malaysia 21 August 2006 Edition, with cover girl Liyana Dhamirah as the cover of the MEGA section of the newspaper...It was a fun shoot...Rileksss aje bila bekerja time-time nie, tapi perut masa tue Masya Allah, dah berbunyi-bunyi minta diisi! It was a tiring day...Hari yang memenatkan..(repetition in BM...)...Wedding in the morning, shoot in the afternoon and lepas tue wedding lagi in the evening...Shoot concept hari nie ialah batik, sempena baju ditaja oleh Noor Arfa Batik...Styling by myself. Decided to do something different for today's shoot...Boring lah rambut tinggi-tinggi kat bahagian depan, so went with fringe styling and ntahapahapantah...In between shoot, I dah terbaring-baring kat kerusi dalam studio Utusan tue...Penat ooo...Nasib baik lah Kak Siti baik hati belanja air milo & kuih... (Terima kasihhh ye kak...  ) The shoot was taken at Studio Utusan...Lepas shoot baru dapat makan nasi..Dah kenyang senang cket wat keje kan???...

...Aahhhh...These pictures commemorate the final wedding saga of the happily-married couple Su & Zu..."Majlis bertandang" Zu & Su took place at Dewan Tabung Haji, Kelana Jaya on Sunday, 11 June 2006. There were two sets of couples celebrated that day. Zu & Su as well as Zu's brother and his wife..The colour theme of the day was grey (or silver...) and the outfit was of traditional concept...
Once again, a big thank you to Su & Zu for the photos, taken by YM Raja Shahidi.

 ...I remembered working with the couple Su & Zu so much... To me, Su was a happy-go-lucky while Zu was always calm and relax... Hehehe..suka lah dapat menyumbang ke arah majlis perkahwinan korang....  ...Ok lah, these were photos taken by ThirtySixZero Degrees Photography and if I'm not mistaken, the photographer name was fondly known as Bob...These days photographers would be waiting at the bride's house to capture the moments when the bride is getting ready for her wedding...Although I remembered Bob came a bit late, nonetheless when I viewed Bob's pictures I have to say they were absolutely amazing! I also remembered Bob didn't use the regular DSLR camera, it was a big, squarish bulky one..(hmm maybe it was a DSLR, I dunno lahh... )...Anyway, the theme colour of Su's reception was cool blue (I love this blue...very refreshing...) and I think the outfit was also tailored from Amin Jauhary, complemented with fresh white roses bouquet...The reception by the way, was held at a "dewan" in downtown Seremban...
Congratulations to Su & Zu on your wedding!!...Best of luck in everything you do!!

Wedding pictures are something to treasure dearly..While there are so many photographers out there, finding the good ones are definitely worth it since for many, going through a wedding happens only once in a lifetime...(with the exception of the famous Datuk K of course; and perhaps others too... hehehe...) In this photo entry, I'm featuring photos of the solemnization of the petite, cute Suraya (Su) and her charming, gentleman husband Zuhairi (Zu). The solemnization took place on 3 June 2006 in Seremban. (ok, it was a few months ago...but it doesn't matter, we all wanna view the photos and the stuff that I'm writing here, right???  ) I reckon Su was one of the coolest client I had ever worked with, trusting my skills completely.. (I must thank you Su for having such faith in me... )...I remembered that morning the weather was fine, and the atmosphere was calm...I had plenty of time to work as I arrived on time. The theme colour of the day was gold. The outfit was tailored from Amin Jauhary...hmm...what else yaa??
Geez... I'm out of ideas on what to write.. I'll write more later...
